Because she was raised by a lake and had a home underwater, Nasi turned out to be slightly mutated into a part fish, part wolf type of animal. With her necklace on, It keeps her fins from getting in the way. This necklace also has some of the lake's purified water in it, so she won't necessarily dry up and flop around to her death like an actual fish. When she gets in the water, she puts her necklace in her pocket after her tail has finished transforming so that her fins on her arms can disappear. (Yeah those are fins. I'm just bad at drawing them.) To transform back, it's easy for her. All she has to do is get out of the water with her necklace on.
